The amazing cliffs of Etretat
We reached the cliffs of Etrétat at sunset, the sky was clear and we were witnessed of a beautiful end of afternoon, which left us soon enchanted by this beautiful natural monument.
The cliffs of Etrétat are rocky limestone formations, the result of millions of years of water and wind influence , in the Normandy area of France and today are one of the main French tourist attractions!
The village and the beach of Etrétat are also very beautiful, the village is very well preserved with houses with typical architecture full of wooden appointments and very ornate balconies.
There are good restaurants and hotels for those who want to sleep in this area.
The beach is very special, especially because of its rocks, which are super smooth and round and as the sea goes up and down it makes a very beautiful melody to hear, the view to the cliffs make this beach even a more a unique place.
It is possible to do many walks in this area and also visit the church of Notre Dame which is located at the top of one of the cliffs, overlooking the village and the beach.
