20 Motorhome/Van Stops in the coast of Portugal for less than 10€
Within the scope of the Geographic Information Systems course at the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism, I developed (Rita) a project that consisted of creating an itinerary through a program called “ArcGis”, with the aim of creating a small itinerary that passed in 20 points in Portuguese territory, I decided to do on sites in Portugal, where it is possible to stay legally by motorhome near the coast for less than 10€.
As this totally meets the scope of our site, I decided to put all the information of the work here, I would point out however that we only visited one of the sites mentioned here, and that all the photographs / information were taken from a site called ” CamperContact ‘ ‘.
A site we have used many times, almost always with very positive experiences.
This site has ratings on all sites, which are the basis for choosing these sites.
When traveling by motorhome one of our only concerns was finding places where we could stay overnight, or areas with some facilities such as dirty water discharges, drinking water .. at a reduced price.
I thought of doing a research work on 20 areas for motorhomes / caravans with a budget of less than € 10 and the coast of Portugal.
I decided to make this article because it ends up being a planning of a route along the coast of Portugal and all areas are organized with the GPS coordinates and their facilities. I hope it will be useful to some reader.

Pereiro is a quiet fishing village in the beautiful municipality of Alcoutim, situated in a mountainous area of great beauty, bathed by the rivers Vascão and Foupana, very close to the border with the Alentejo, a symbol of another distant Algarve of the golden beaches of crystal clear waters, but full of charm and with much to see and to know.

Albufeira is a Portuguese city belonging to the District of Faro, region and sub-region of the Algarve, with about 40 000 inhabitants.
It is soothes of a municipality with 140,66 km ² of area and 40 828 inhabitants (2011), subdivided in 4 parishes. The municipality is limited to the west and northwest by the municipality of Silves, to the northeast and east by Loulé and to the south has a wide coast in the Atlantic Ocean.

Area 5 – Holiday home Campingcar
Location : Armação de Pêra, Algarve
Brief local history
Armação de Pêra is a very popular village in the summer, having in the bathing season a population several times superior to its population in the winter.
It is a fishing and tourist area. During the bathing season between June and September, Armação is full of daytime and nightlife. During the day you can enjoy the sport that exists on the beach of fishermen, volleyball.
On the beach, during the day, you can also visit the caves with some fishermen who are engaged in this activity in the summer, while others are engaged in fishing all year round. During the night the street of the bars and the avenue become in places of great movement from 20h to 24h.

Location Silves, Algarve
Brief local history
Silves is a Portuguese town in the District of Faro, in the region and sub-region of the Algarve, with about 6 300 inhabitants.
In recent years, the number of tourists visiting the municipality has been increasing substantially, notably as a destination of culture tourism.
Silves was, in centuries past, capital of the Algarve, but it lost that statute, partly due to the silting of the river Arade, that diminished its economic importance. Silves is one of the oldest cities in Portugal.

Praia do Boca do Rio is a beach in the parish of Budens, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, in the Algarve, Portugal. Situated at the confluence of two streams, it is a quiet beach. One of the streams defines a wide valley, originating a swampy area that has agricultural use. There are hydraulic engenhos located along the two valleys, witnessing the ancient human occupation.
