We were very curious to visit Croatia and we did not disappoint, it is a very beautiful country and worth a visit.

Firstly because of the time of the year we went, we found a very touristy country with many cars and foreign caravans and many tourists in general.

We also felt that they take great advantage of this, due to the prices practiced in tourist sites, such as the price of admission to the natural parks (€ 20), or in restaurants for example.

Of all the European countries we have visited, Croatia is the country where we have seen a greater gap between the prices charged for tourists and the purchasing power of the population, that is, the minimum wage is low but by the prices practiced it seems that we are almost in a Nordic country, the parking price in Dubrovnik for example costs € 6 per hour.

The country is very beautiful, the beaches we went to were clean, with turquoise blue water, but almost no sand, inland we went to two natural parks, Plitvice and the Krka National Park’s, and are both beautiful with lakes and very beautiful waterfalls.

The roads are in good condition and the motorways are paid.

For motorhomes we did not see free support sites, and in the national parks it is not possible to stay overnight.

In Plitvice, we were awakened at 7 am by the park rangers, otherwise we parked without any problem.
